In the battle of the Sema family 2011 champion Yurika Sema from Japan (167) as well as her sister Erika Sema (129) will headline the tough field. Yurika will be looking to defend her title, with the possibility of meeting her sister in the final on Sunday.

Sasha Jones ranked 235, who at the end of 2011 announced that she would play for Australia, will hope to make an impact after a tough start to the year at the Moorilla International.
