Sydney Badge Tennis aims to provide across the Sydney Metropolitan area professionally managed, highly competitive tennis events which satisfy the needs of tennis organisations and players. Sydney badge Tennis is now also the metropolitan arm of the Tennis NSW Premier League.

The competitions aim to serve the needs of the sport to provide challenges and incentives to players to develop their skills in a competitive, but social environment. The competitions seek to support all existing tennis organisations by maximising the use of established local facilities of Clubs, Associations and Independent Operators with the main aim to ‘Grow the Game’

- No play on Saturdays 7 Apr (Easter Saturday), 9 June (Queen’s Birthday) and 4 Aug (Bank Holiday).
- Sydney Championships – Saturday 7 July 2012.  No Badge play on this date.

Express Comp Format:

  • 4 ladies per team; 2 courts per match
  • 8 teams per division; 1 round only (pilot comp – if well supported can hold a follow on comp)
  • 3 sets of doubles each (1&2 vs 1&2; 3 &4 vs 3&4; 1&3 vs 1&3; 2&4 vs 2&4; 1&4 vs 1&4; 2&3 vs 2&3)
  • Sets are first to 6 games with a 5 – all tiebreak
  • Games are short deuce
  • FINISH TIME FOR ALL MATCHES IS 12.00PM
