The Tennis NSW Premier League is the pinnacle of our competition structure for players in Metropolitan Sydney and Regional NSW. The Premier League is a pathway that includes, the top division of Sydney Badge and Country Pennant. From those two competitions a team is formed to represent City and Country during the Apia International Sydney.
Sydney Badge aims to provide professionally managed, highly competitive tennis events across the Sydney Metropolitan area. There are a variety of divisions to cater for all ages and abilities. Sydney Badge has over 1500 participants and is steeped in history, as the oldest running competition in Australia.
Country Pennant is the regional arm of the Tennis NSW Premier League. The competition will run inconjunction with Sydney Badge competition. A representative play-off pathway will be used to select the country team to compete in the City verses Country fnal at the Apia International Sydney.
Asia-Pacific Tennis League
The Asia-Pacific Tennis League is a national competition for semi-professional/professional players held during November. Players are recruited by teams,similar to Davis or Fed Cup and compete in a shortened format. The winning men’s and women’s team from the NSW/ACT conference represent their state at the national finals held during the second week of the Australian Open.
The Super 10′s is a new competition for junior players aged 10 and under and develop kids skills as well as promoting fair play and team bonding.
MLC Tennis Hot Shots Leagues
The MLC Tennis Hot Shots Leagues provides an opportunity for children aged 12 and under to play tennis in a team environment. The league will be a permanent fixture in the NSW competition pathway and will run each term over six weeks.
