Amber Marshall (SA) continued her imperious form in the opening singles rubber, beating Hong Yi Wong 6-3 6-2 to establish an early advantage.

The tie was levelled when Olivia Gadecki (Qld) fell to defeat in the seconds rubber, but Marshall resumed her successful doubles partnership with Tayla Whitehouse (SA) to seal victory with a straight sets win over their Hong Kong opponents.
