Australian rising stars Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis feature in the ATP’s Next Generation campaign.

Kyrgios and Kokkinakis are among a group of 17 players aged 21 or under in the world’s top 200; according to atpworldtour.com, “the campaign introduces an exciting crop of young and talented players, who are rising to prominence on the ATP World Tour … each of them is striving to pose a future threat to the well-established hierarchy.”

Kyrgios is arguably the most credentialled of the group, having recently won his first ATP title in Marseille to go with career victories over Rafael Nadal (Wimbledon 2014) and Roger Federer (Madrid 2015).

The 20-year-old from Canberra is already entrenched in the world’s top 30.

Kokkinakis, currently absent from the game while he rehabilitates an surgically-repaired shoulder, peaked at world No.69 in June 2015 after reaching the fourth round at Indian Wells and third round at Roland Garros.

The South Australian also made a winning Davis Cup live rubber debut for Australia in February 2015 against the Czech Republic.
