Australia’s top ranked wheelchair tennis players will converge on Bendigo for the 2015 Australian Wheelchair Tennis National Championships set to hit off on Friday 13 November.

The winner of the men’s singles event will be awarded a wildcard into Australian Open 2016. The men’s draw will feature Australia’s No.1 Adam Kellerman (NSW) and No.2 Ben Weekes (NSW) who have both won the Australian Open wildcard play-off in previous years.

Entries into the Bendigo tournament will close on Friday 16 October for the following events:

  • Men’s Wheelchair Singles (Australian Open 2016 wildcard play-off)
  • Women’s Wheelchair Singles
  • Junior (18/U) Wheelchair Singles
  • Men’s Wheelchair Doubles
  • Women’s Wheelchair Doubles

Foundation97 in partnership with Tennis Australia will host a fundraising dinner to help raise funds for sports wheelchairs on Thursday 12 November. The event will also mark the beginning of the Roll to Rio Paralympic campaign.

Special guests on the night will include tennis legends Todd Woodbridge, David Hall and Danni di Toro, as well as some of the country’s top wheelchair tennis players. Tickets to the dinner are $120 and are available here.
