A renowned customer relations expert has joined Tennis Australia.

Leading customer relations consultant Jaquie Scammell has joined the Tennis Australia executive team in the newly created role of Director, Customer Relations.

Jaquie Scammell’s credits include:

  • Head of a mobilisation team at Emirates Stadium (home of Arsenal Football Club)
  • Head of a mobilisation team at Wembley Stadium
  • Creator of a new international sector for Delaware North
  • Delaware North General Manager at Melbourne Park
  • General Manager Retail Strategy and Development, Spotless Services

Ms Scammell’s broad portfolio at Tennis Australia includes human resources, the Tennis Cares community program and customer service at all levels, from engaging staff through to providing the best possible experience for fans.

“Jaquie’s recruitment is a real coup for Tennis. Her role can be best summed up as being responsible for inspiring all of our customers, both internal and external,” Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley explained.

“Jaquie brings significant experience and a great passion for customer service to the organisation, which will benefit not only our staff and stakeholders but the hundreds of thousands of fans who participate in our sport and attend our events each year.”

In her new role at Tennis Australia Ms Scammell will head up business relationships and workplace culture as well as the growth and delivery of Tennis Cares, with an aim to inspire positive social change in the community.

“This role feels like a natural fit. Already I have a sense of the talent within the organisation and know we can cultivate an environment to inspire more people to connect with the sport of tennis.
