When Nick Kyrgios defeated Roger Federer in Madrid earlier this month, the Twittersphere went into meltdown. When Daria Gavrilova defeated Ana Ivanovic in Rome last week, the Twittersphere again went into meltdown. Coincidence, or is the social media world starting to take notice of our Aussie young guns?

I think we can all agree Lleyton Hewitt has taken to Twitter like a duck to water. He’s even created his own Wimbledon hashtag: #TheRoadToSW19

Another player with Wimbledon on his mind is Ben Mitchell.

But back to Lleyton, and his slow-mo video of this obscure serving drill is well worth a look.

The other big Twitter tennis story for the week was the blossoming relationship between new doubles pairing Nick Kyrgios and American Jack Sock.

So what does Nick do in his downtime when he’s not losing sleep over Jack Sock? It seems he’s playing FIFA online with Andy Murray!

In other, more serious tennis news, Thanasi Kokkinakis won a title!

Unfortunately Jarmila Gajdosova was forced to pull out of Rome due to injury, but was quick to send what was arguably the “feel good” tweet of the week.

John Millman gave Jarmila a good run for her money though.

Elsewhere, Matthew Barton snapped himself in Seoul.

Which got us thinking, was it the purple shorts that made him upset?

And Nick Kyrgios received his own portrait from an inspired fan.

Are John Millman and Jason Kubler ‘Kissyo Frozen Yogurt’s’ newest ambassadors?

Finally, it wouldn’t be ‘Social Serve’ without an obligatory Instagram #selfie or two. Is this one of the best selfies of 2015 so far?

But this week’s winner is… Harry Bourchier!
