Melbourne VIC, Australia, 22 January 2015 | Rob Sheeley

A quartet of Aussies will press their claims for a place in the third round of the 2015 Australian Open on Thursday at Melbourne Park.

Samantha Stosur, Casey Dellacqua, Ajla Tomljanovic and Lleyton Hewitt are all scheduled to grace the Plexicushion on Day 4 of their home tournament.

Stosur meets American Coco Vandeweghe. They have clashed on two occasions in the past with the ledger all square at 1-1.

Dellacqua takes on the 19-year-old American Madison Keys. She will get the opportunity to avenge her loss in their only encounter, which was at this very tournament two years ago.

Tomljanovic also comes up against an American in the form of 30th seed Varvara Lepchenko. It is likely to be a tough examination for Tomljanovic who has played Lepchenko on two occasions and lost both times.

The 19th consecutive Australian Open for Lleyton Hewitt continues when he faces off against German Benjamin Becker. The pair have not crossed paths for some four years, however on the two occasions that they have met, Hewitt has triumphed.

Doubles action also continues at Melbourne Park on Day 4 with 14 Australians in action, including the pairing of Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios.
