Australia’s Bernard Tomic will fly the flag at this week’s ATP 500 event in Tokyo, Japan.

Tomic opens his campaign in the Japanese capital with a tough first round match against third seed Milos Raonic.

Fellow Aussies Thanasi Kokkinakis and James Duckworth came close to joining Tomic in the main draw, yet fell in tight matches in the final round of qualifying.
