A seven-strong contingent of Aussie men will take to the grass courts of Roehampton to contest the Wimbledon qualifying event.

Leading the way is Sam Groth, the 20th seed who takes on Edward Corrie of Great Britain in his opening match.

He will play that match on Monday, a day on which all the Aussie men will be in action hoping to kick off their qualifying campaigns on a strong note.

The others are James Duckworth, Alex Bolt, Matt Reid, John Patrick-Smith, Benjamin Mitchell and Luke Saville.

The women’s qualifying draw is expected to be released later on Monday, with play in this event to begin on Tuesday at Roehampton.
