Jarmila Gajdosova has capped a magnificent week in Nottingham, winning the singles and doubles titles and in the process claiming a prized Wimbledon main draw wildcard.

The Australian won the singles title with a commanding 6-2 6-2 victory over Swiss Timea Bacsinszky, her first tournament victory of any kind in more than three years.

Her last title came back in Hobart in 2011.

She later teamed with compatriot Arina Rodionova to win the doubles crown; they beat Veronica Cepede Rogy and Stephanie Vogt 7-6(0) 6-1.

The singles victory meant the 27-year-old claimed the last remaining wildcard into the main draw at Wimbledon, beginning Monday 23 June.

Her win also completed a clean sweep for Australia at Nottingham; on Saturday, teenager Nick Kyrgios won the men’s title to claim his place in the Wimbledon draw via a wildcard.

Gajdosova, currently ranked 223rd, is a former world No.25 and reached the fourth round at the All England Club in 2010.
