John Peers and Scottish teammate Jamie Murray have continued their fruitful partnership with victory at the ATP claycourt event in Munich, Germany.

The duo beat the British pairing of Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins 6-4 6-2 to hoist their fourth ATP trophy together.

After winning three ATP titles in 2013 – at Houston, Gstaad and Bangkok – Peers and Murray picked up their first tour title in 2014 at the 250-level event.

“It feels really good. To be able to get matches under our belt felt good. It’s good to get back in the winners’ circle,” Peers said.

The third seeds in Munich, Peers and Murray were fairly dominant all week; the only time they were stretched to a third set came in the quarterfinals, where they were forced to fend off Lukas Dlouhy and Mate Pavic in a match tiebreak.

The title takes their 2014 win-loss record to 12-6; earlier this season they reached semifinals in Brisbane, Casablanca and Bucharest.
