Day 10 of the 2014 Australian Open will see the defending mixed doubles champions, Jarmila Gajdosova and Matthew Ebden, attempt to take a step closer to defending their title when they play their quarterfinal on Rod Laver Arena tonight.

They will clash with the competitions second seeds, Katarina Srebotnik of Slovakia and Rohan Bopanna of India, in the second match of the night session.

There will be plenty of Aussie junior action on throughout the day too with no less than seven Australians looking to advance to the quarterfinals of the singles competitions.

In the girls’ event, Australia will be represented by Kimberly Birrell, Destanee Aiava and Naiktha Bains. While in the boys’ it will be Harry Bourchier, Bradley Mousley, Omar Jasika and Marc Polmans who fly the flag for the Aussies.

There are also plenty of juniors still alive in both the boys’ and girls’ doubles competitions which reach their quarterfinals stage today.

If the legends tournament is more your style of tennis there is also a few Aussie greats in action today including Pat Cash, the Woodies, Nicole Bradkte and Rennae Stubbs.
