The 2014 Australian Ranking Tournament Calendar will be released this week, comprising almost 400 tournaments and events.

The first half of 2014 will feature 15 Australian Pro Tour events offering a combined US$350,000 in prize money; more Pro Tour events will be added to the calendar early next year for the second half of 2014.

For juniors, there will be four junior ITF tournaments staged in the first half of 2014, with another four to be announced later this year for the second half of 2014).

There will be a further seven junior ITF tournaments held in the New Zealand and Oceania region in the first six months of 2014.

Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales will host elevated State Junior Championships in April, July and September respectively, offering Platinum level points for junior athletes.

Almost 200 Australian Money Tournaments (AMT) will be staged offering a combined $928,000 in total prize money. Of these, 10 AMT Platinum events have been upgraded for 2014 and will offer $15,000 in total prize money.

Updates to the 2014 Australian Ranking Tournament Calendar will be made only on the following dates:

  • Monday 21 October 2013 – after this date, no changes will be made for tournaments between 1 January and 31 March 2014
  • Monday 6 January 2014 – after this date, no changes will be made for tournaments between 1 April and 30 June 2014
  • Monday 31 April 2014 – after this date, no changes will be made for tournaments between 1 July and 30 September 2014
  • Monday 7 July 2014 – after this date, no changes will be made for tournaments between 1 October and 31 December 2014
