Australian 29th seed Jarmila Gajdosova was sent packing 6-2 6-0 at the hands of world No.103 Vania King in the US Open second round today.

Gajdosova paid the price for another wayward performance with the diminutive American wrapping up the win in just over an hour on court 17.

The Australian produced 45 unforced errors to her opponent’s 13 and had her serve broken seven times.
