Australian Tennis Magazine has made its mark in the digital sphere by launching its official iPad application.

In a worldwide first, the magazine will give fans the opportunity to access latest issues online and continues the publication’s 35-year history of being the source of information for all Australian and international tennis enthusiasts.

The application is free to download and includes a complimentary version of this year’s summer issue, with the July, August and September issues available for purchase for only AUD $1.99.

Editor of Australian Tennis Magazine Vivienne Christie said the application ensured that content could be easily navigated and readily accessible for readers.

“Tennis fans all over the world expect up to date information to be made available to them at all times regardless of their current location or time zone,” Christie said.

“The most rewarding aspect of the application is the high quality reproduction of content that is not available in print format.

“To the best of our knowledge, Australian Tennis Magazine is the first specialist tennis publication to provide a standalone iPad application and will be a superb complement for fans.”

The online issues feature stories enhanced by additional content and high quality photographs, as well as videos that enable fans to gain private access to their favourite players.

The interactive application brings new life to Australian Tennis Magazine and will take readers to the action on court, off court and online.

The Australian Tennis Magazine iPad application is now available for download from the iTunes store.
