The Heineken Live Stage at Grand Slam® Oval will have something for everyone as a wide range of musical talent descends upon Australian Open 2011.

Prominent Australian acts will bring a festival-like atmosphere to Grand Slam® Oval through daily afternoon and evening concerts.

Artists include former Hunters and Collectors front man Mark Seymour, up-and-coming duo Gypsy & The Cat and former Sherbet lead singer Daryl Braithwaite.

Also performing will be electro-pop act Miami Horror, pop band Operator Please, songbird Clare Bowditch, Dan Kelly, the celebrated vocals of Katie Noonan & the Captains, Tim Rogers & Band, Paul Dempsey, rising young talent StoneMason, and pop-rock outfit Bluejuice.

Lisa Mitchell and Amy Meredith will headline the Heineken Live Stage on the day of the women’s and men’s finals respectively, providing the perfect warm-up for fans enjoying the matches on the giant screens at Grand Slam® Oval.

Nova 100’s ‘I am with the Band’ contest will also be run on the Heineken Live Stage throughout the last five days of the tournament, as the search to uncover Australia’s newest musical stars continues from Victoria’s talent pool.

Concerts are open to all Australian Open spectators, and are a great way to sit back and relax while spending a day catching all the tennis action at Melbourne Park. The $29 ground pass will be music to everyone’s ears with access to great tennis on the outside courts and live music from the hottest Australian bands and artists.
