HOSTING A FREE TENNIS DAY IS EASY

Free Tennis Days are all about opening up your club to the local community and encouraging people of all ages and abilities to pick up a racquet and have a hit.

As part of an Australian Open 2017 initiative, 256 towns around the country were aligned with a main draw player by tennis clubs who registered to host a Free Tennis Day. If the player that the club selected won the Australian Open, the club could win up to $5000!

Aussie towns Australind, WA (Australind TC) and Bentleigh, VIC (Victory Park TC) took home the prize after winning the competition. Australind TC and Victory Park Tennis Club selected Roger Federer and Serena Williams in 2017, and shared $10,000 (AUD) in prize money.
