The M&DTA Thursday Ladies and Saturday Afternoon Competitions where due to start this week with the Tuesday and Wednesday ladies starting next week. The weather has been forecast for a heatwave starting this week with Saturday temperatures to reach 40+.
While the Association has been advised that Division 1 have 4 teams; with 1 fill-in as weekly spare and there are no team entries for Div 2 or Div 3 at this stage, although there are a couple of individuals who are ready to play. Also there are teams and individual players ready to go for the other competitions but numbers are down and coupled with queries about playing in the heat this week, the Association has made the decision to push the start date of all competitions back a week. Below are the new start dates for each competition:
Tuesday Ladies: 11/02/20
Wednesday Ladies: 12/02/20
Thursday Ladies: 06/02/20
Saturday Afternoon: 08/02/20
