Welcome to the Totally Teeth Junior Development Series 2012 Points Race.
Rocky JDS Finals
The top 2 points players in 11/U, 13/U, 15,U and 17,U will qualify for the Junior Development Series Finals in Rockhampton. 16 Players will represent the Gold Coast and take on the 7 other regions of Queensland. The Gold Coast finished in third place in 2011 and it came down to only a few points difference between the top three teams who were well clear of the rest. The Gold Coast has won this event in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Queensland Junior Teams Carnival
The top 4 finishing JDS points players (who nominate) and top 2 AR points players (who nominate) are eligible to represent the Gold Coast at the Queensland Junior Teams Carnival in December. With 6 boys and 6 girls in each age division, 48 players in total represent our region against the best of the rest in Queensland. You must nominate to have a chance of representing. The final team will be decided at the GCRA’s final discretion.

How is the Points Race calculated?
Points: Main Draw Winner – 100pts, Runner-up – 75pts, Semi-Finalists – 50pts, Losing Quarterfinalists – 35pts, Losing round of 16 – 20pts, Losing round of 32 – 15pts, Losing round of 64 – 10pts. FIC Winner – 30pts, FIC Runner-up- 25pts. If points are won for FIC, the greater number of points only are credited to that player. If a player does not compete in the FIC, then no points will be awarded.
