Totally Teeth JDS 2012
The Totally Teeth Junior Development Series 2012 is an important program in the player development pathway on the Gold Coast. Formerly known as the Junior Masters Circuit, this new Series enables developing players to participate and compete in both singles and doubles.
Coordinated by the Gold Coast Regional Assembly (Tennis Queensland affiliated bodies on the Gold Coast), the series features 8 tournaments stretching from Tweed Heads to Beenleigh.
The series features many prizes and awards including the Totally Teeth Brightest Smile Award as well as the JDS Points Race which is your ticket to representing the Gold Coast.
The Series features the 9/U Green Ball Challenge which utilizes a 75% compression ball to maximise rally length, court craft, swing patterns and increase fun. All players receive a certificate of participation.
Other divisions include 11/U, 13/U, 15/U and 17/U. These players are eligible to compete in the Totally Teeth JDS 2012 points race which is a key determinant in regional representation at the Junior Development Series Finals in Rockhampton in October and Queensland Junior Teams Carnival.
The Junior Development Series State Finals are held in 27th-28th October 2012 in Rockhampton. 16 players in total will be selected to compete against other regions in Queensland to ultimately be crowned Junior Development Series State Champions.
