Book a Court for Day or Night Use

Day Court bookings

Sheets for the day booking of courts for two weeks (in advance) are located on the club notice board. A new sheet will normally be put up every Sunday afternoon. Both family and given names should be clearly stated when making bookings.

Members only may make a booking, and must be one of the players participating. A member may book no more than a single 1 hour session during prime time (between 5pm and dark) and at other times no more than two 1 hour sessions in any one week.

Members wishing to start later than the prescribed times, on the hour and half hour, must state their starting time, as any court not occupied 15 minutes after the booked time, will be considered forfeited and available to others.

Please consider other members, and cancel any bookings you have made that you are no longer able to use yourself.

Night Court Bookings

On February 1st 2012, we will have a trial arrangement in operation. All night bookings will be done through the Forrest Hotel and Apartments (FHA).

The fee for the use of lights is charged by the hour and payment must be made at the time the keys are collected. A deposit for the key is required and returned when the key is given back to FHA. Cancellation requires 24 hours notice, otherwise payment for the booking is required.

All court lights must be switched off by 11pm. The last players to leave must ensure that all lights are switched off in the clubhouse and that the doors and windows are locked.

Permanent Court Bookings

A maximum of three courts may be booked permanently with the secretary at any one time. Bookings must be renewed quarterly (i.e. 1 February, 1 May, 1 August & 1 November). The fee is at present $20.00 allows the use of two court for 1 hour per week for one quarter.

General Information

Courts are not always available for general use. The following are the peak times, when court availability may be limited:

Monday nights – pennant from 7.30pm (seasonal all year)
Tuesday nights – pennant from 7.30pm (seasonal all year)
Wednesday nights – social tennis from 7.30pm (all year)
Thursday nights – pennant from 7.30pm (seasonal all year)
Saturday mornings – juniors from 9.00am until 1.00pm(seasonal all year)
Saturday afternoons – pennant from 1.00pm (seasonal all year)
Sunday mornings – pennant from 9.00am (seasonal all year)
Sunday afternoons – social tennis from 1.30pm until 5.00pm (all year)

School holidays – tennis camps (coaching)
After school – from 3.30pm until 5.30pm (coaching)

It is advisable to book your court in advance, so as not to be disappointed, especially during the daylight saving months.
