We are seeking a committed tennis coach who is motivated and regards tennis coaching as ‘their job’. Salary/ wage to be negotiated for the right candidate. Bonus payment plans available. This is an opportunity for a coach to essentially operate their own coaching business, with remuneration incentives (profit sharing) in place. Additionally, the role involves the formulation of a comprehensive PWII and DHOH talent identification strategy, aimed at ensuring a steady stream of players progress through the pathways. Integral to the role is the creation of a comprehensive BLV talent identification strategy aimed at fostering a continuous stream of players through these pathways. This strategy is designed to align closely with the overarching objective of achieving and maintaining a world #1 BLV player and ensuring Australia ranks #1 in international BLV medals year-on-year. You will encourage and inspire our pupils through our Player Development Pathways from Hotshots Blue through to Squad Programs & Adult clinics. Through-out the year Pure Tennis runs the St Hildas School tennis program traveling and competing against Brisbane’s top Tennis schools. This is a great opportunity to work and develop these aspiring young tennis students.
The ideal candidate is looking for a career in the tennis industry, is a student of the game, up to date with current teaching methods & has a natural connection with both juniors and adults. This is a unique opportunity for an organised and proactive tennis professional to join a team environment that respects and utilises each staff members strengths to make a positive impact across our group. Pure Tennis attracts hundreds of juniors into the sport and we trust you will inspire and encourage their love for the game. The position has strong support from administration, marketing and coaching staff to help you succeed in this position. Initially, the successful applicant will commence in a casual coaching role of approx. 10hrs per week with the expectation that you will have the skill sets to build that quickly.
