Regional Teams Events

Tennis Victoria hold a series of Regional Team Events are held across Victoria each year for teams from both metropolitan associations and from our 11 country regions. These prestigious team events showcase emerging junior talent and provide players with the opportunity to represent their region in a team environment. These events run over weekends and long weekends throughout the year. The selection of athletes for each team is based on merit and the individual selection processes within each association and region. Events range in ages from 10/u to 15/u with players ages calculated as of December 31 of that year.

Barwon Region has a strong history of competing in these events and hopes to continue this tradition.  The teams are selected from players throughout the region using a list of criteria provided by Tennis Victoria. Athletes are required to nominate themselves for these events, simply complete the ‘Athlete Nomination Form’ located under the Entry Forms tab.

NOTE: Players must be of the age specified or under as at 31 December, 2017.
